Paddle Dryers

Used Paddle Dryers are indirect dryers used for granular or powdery material. Industrial Paddle dryers consist of a horizontal single or twin agitator rotating within a cylindrical housing which is jacketed for indirect heating. Paddles are attached to the agitator which sweep close to the inner surface of the housing moving the product through the dryer. Often to achieve maximum heating efficiency the dryer is tilted slightly in the direction of the material flow.
