Pan Dryers: Pharmaceutical
Industrial Pan dryers consist of a flat bottomed, jacketed, cyclindrical vessel with bottom and side surfaces swept by a top or bottom mounted agitator. The jacket of the vessel can be heated by water, steam or oil. Operation can be under vacuum or atmospheric pressure. Industrial Pan dryers are mainly used in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Manufacturers include APV Mitchell, Guedu, 3V Cogiem and Calmic.
