In 2007 3Di Equipment were asked to carry out an appraisal of a number of manufacturing plants located at Syngenta's manufacturing facility in Huddersfield. Following the appraisal 3Di were asked to dispose of the assets that were deemed salvageable from the PMG plants and FC1 buildings which were earmarked for future demolition.

The assets included Krauss-Maffei Peeler centrifuges, decanter centrifuges, Hastelloy, duplex, stainless steel and glass lined reactors, Niro Spray Drying Plants, Hastelloy heat exchangers and columns and a titanium 4 effect evaporative crystallization plant.

Over the next 18 months 3Di conducted a private treaty sale of the assets, marketing them globally which resulted in the sale of a number of high value items to far eastern companies as well as some European manufacturers.
