Description
Used 1,135 Litre Stainless Steel IBC, manufactured by H. Pontifex & Sons Ltd, 2005. Material of construction 254 SMO stainless Steel. Orientation vertical, square, coned top, base and is forklift bale and stackable. Dimensions 1120mm width, 940mm depth, 1740mm overall height, 150mm top cone, 200mm bottom dish. Connections 1 x 40mm top BSP inlet, 1 x 50mm flanged inlet reduced to a 40mm BSP, 1 x 50mm bottom outlet, 1 x 400mm top man way. Test pressure 0.20 Bar G, Empty weight 190kg. Internally the ibc is fitted with two copper stream coils. This Ibc is constructed from Stainless steel grade 254 SMO which is very high end austenitic stainless steel. It is designed with a combination of impact toughness resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, and pitting and crevice corrosion with strength that is twice that of the stainless steel 300 series. For certain applications, grade 254 SMO has been reported to be a cost-effective substitute for high nickel and titanium alloys.
