Pressure Vessels

Pressure vessels or vacuum receiver vessels as they are also know are storage containers which are used to store or receive fluids or gases at pressure. The pressure and temperature are generally higher inside the vessel than that outside. They are usually cylindrical with dished ends and can be vertical or horizontal depending on the requirements.

Types of vessels tend to vary depending on the material of construction generally they are glass lined, mild steel and stainless steel. They tend to be constructed by engineering companies and specialist fabricators. Pressure vessels are used across a number of different industries such as the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, oil and gas industries.
