Industrial fans and blowers are technically two different devices that have the same function. However the terms are often used interchangeably to mean any device that delivers a quantity of air or gas at a desired pressure. The main difference between them is their rotating elements and their discharge pressure capabilities. There are generally two types of industrial fans: centrifugal fans and axial fans.
