Generators

Generators are relied upon by many companies to supply electrical power during power cuts or disruption to mains power. They are also used in places without a connection to a power grid. Most generators comprise of an engine typically run on diesel with an electric generator or an alternator to generate electrical energy. Generators that are packaged with various ancillary devices are referred to as gensets.
