APV was a UK based manufacturer of process equipment for the dairy, food and chemicals industries. APV supplied equipment across the globe and became a well know brand in the processing industry. In 1987 APV merged with Baker Perkins to become APV Baker. 10 years later the APV division was purchased by Siebe plc. Following the subsequent merger of Siebe with BTR plc, APV was aquired by SPX Corporation in 2007 where is resides as brand name for heat exchangers, pumps and homogenisers for the processing industries.
