With a key focus on driving products to help customers solve a range of everyday problems, the Ingersoll Rand brand is based on a 100-year-old tradition which allows companies to cut costs and create progress at the same time.

With a history which dates back initially to 1871, the Ingersoll Rand brand started out with a patented steam-powered rock drill which was originally created by Simon Ingersoll. Over the next 100 years the company would start to build slowly with a number of key acquisitions within the drill industry. In addition, the company expanded to incorporate the production of wider industry tools, thus making the company more diverse.

To the modern day, the company continues to grow and develop with the same traditions as when it started. Pushing the boundaries of innovation and constantly looking for new and more innovative ways to drive creation across industry.
