Vacuum Dryers

Vacuum dryers are industrial drying systems used to remove moisture or solvents from materials—especially heat-sensitive, hygroscopic, or thermally degradable substances—by drying them under reduced pressure (vacuum). Lowering the pressure reduces the boiling point of water or solvents, allowing drying to occur at lower temperatures.

A vacuum dryer uses a sealed chamber where:

The material is placed.
Air and moisture are removed under vacuum.
Heating (via conduction, radiation, or microwave) is applied to speed up evaporation.
