Description
Used 2,266 Litre Contra Rotating Mixing Vessel, manufactured by Websters, 1994. Material of construction 316 stainless steel. Orientation vertical, hemispherical base and dished bolted top. Supported with 4 side supports. Dimensions 1650mm internal diameter, 2600mm overall height. Design code BS5500 Cat 3, vessel design pressure 1.1bar/FV, jacket design pressure 3.3bar/FV, design temperature 147degC, test pressure vessel 3.3bar, test pressure jacket 5.26bar. Vessel is fitted with a top mounted scraped surface mixer and contra rotating mixer. The contra rotating agitator is powered by a variable speed 1.1kw/5.5kw electric motor. The scraped surface agitator is powered by a variable speed 5.5kw/11kw electric motor. Previously used on gels.
