Description
Used Mitchell Vacuum Shelf Dryer, manufactured by Mitchell Dryers Ltd. Material of construction 316 Stainless Steel. Design code BS5500:CAT3, design pressure main body 0.0344 N/mm2 (5 psig) and 0.01 N/mm2 (full vacuum), thermoplate 0.344 N/mm2 (50 psig), design temperature 200degC. The unit is a standard 676mm diameter dryer with 630mm inside straight length between flanges and dished ends, which takes the form of doors, hinged with hand wheels for securing. A 100mm diameter sight glass is mounted in both rear and front access door, a 75mm bursting disc assembly is mounted on the cylinder diameter. The inside of the vacuum shelf dryer is fitted with a framework bolted to the shell arranged at equal pitches to accommodate 5 stainless steel platens. The platens are suitable for working pressures upton 3.5bar and can accommodate 6 off 457mm x 457mm x 50mm deep drying trays (not included). The vacuum shelf dryer comes with a local control panel, Conair Churchill oil heater and GVE liquid ring vacuum pump. Previously used in the food industry.
